Some people have talent bursting at the seams. Grace Gillespie’s dreamy guitar strums and melodic voice are definitely worth checking out, and playing over and over again! About her track, “Restoration” she says, “[it] is one of the very first tracks I wrote. I had only recently taught myself to play guitar and had been experimenting a lot with alternate tunings – a lot of Nick Drake was being listened to… I wrote the song very quickly, in reaction to my first cold and fairly lonely winter in London. I was not overly concerned with its length or lack of structure.” Grace, no need to be concerned with that! The song flows organically to the ear and stands on its own just fine!
