Shetland gruff punkers Forgotten Sons just released their new single ‘Ragged Sails High’. Employing familiar pop-punk guitar chugging, picked, mid-heavy bass and steady, dynamic drums the group has created a distinctly early-2000s retro vibe. Clearly, these guys have listened to Blink-182’s early material and Brand New’s Your Favorite Weapon. The vocals, courtesy of Birdy Burgess are a rousing, throaty embodiment of the Shetland Islands. The band’s whole aura is wind-whipped, rainy and salt-stained. Go check them out!
