‘2005’, the new single from New England pop punkers Exit, is some glitzy, immaculately-produced pop rock. This track, which features Mid-Altlantic pop punk legends Handguns, really channels Taking Back Sunday or The Starting Line. The infectious hooks, sparkling guitars and pounding drums are everything Buzzfeed remembers about rock music from the mid aughts. These guys are bound to do amazingly. It seems that the emo pop nostalgia wasn’t as fleeting as all the critics claimed it was. Check out ‘2005’ below!
