‘Beached Community’ by I Feel Fine is some melodic, nostalgic post-hardcore. Emphasis on the hardcore. These guys leave the hooks to their instrumentation. Gang vocals dominate the track’s limited lyrics. As is common in this type of music, the entire band plays their instruments exceptionally well. The airy, erratic dueling guitars establish most of the song’s personality. The rhythm section is also on point – especially the drums. If you’re in the scene, you’ll probably hearing more form these guys soon. Check out their upcoming EP Long Distance Celebration, which will be out on Failure by Design Records on May 4th.
