These guys clearly take a lot from The Police. Namely, their apparent reggae and ska influences as well as their cheeky, upbeat delivery. The band plays very tightly. The production choices here add to that. The guitars and bass are staccato, plinky and decidedly devoid of reverb. The drums are not overly complex, but are played with a precision that holds the track as a whole together. On top of everything, the dynamic, theatrical vocals add a lot of character.
