‘The Becoming’ by Isla Craig is a full, original and well-rounded composition. This Toronto-based musician has a “pointed attention towards vocal delivery and melodic play.” She describes her music as, “underpinned by languid psyche blues rhythms and arrangements that tumble into trance states.” This mysterious, slow-moving tune is bass-heavy and a little bit unsettling.
