Atlas Wynd’s ‘Helpless’ Is Some Gritty, Humble Hard Rock

5 7 18 Atlas WyndAtlas Wynd’s ‘Helpless’ is some unpretentious, fuzzy hard rock. According to the band, the “brutish riffs and breakneck beats” were “recorded at London’s Toe Rag Studios with Liam Watson,” who is known for his work with The White Stripes. This tune’s short length and high density of great riffs is a nice change of pace. Especially in a current rock climate that’s more attuned to the complex and convoluted. The production on here is perfect. This is what modern garage-influenced hard rock should sound like. These guys are true up-and-comers. Check out ‘Helpless’ below!
