‘Headwind’ by White Flash Is Understated Yet Intense Piano Rock

5 23 18 White FlashWhite Flash’s ‘Headwind’ is understated yet intense piano rock. This band begs you to, “imagine losing yourself as you stare longingly at a photo that recalls a bittersweet scene from the past.” This group, which formed at the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston, is a cut above most pop rock. These guys bring an intensity and authenticity to the genre that’s rare and deeply needed. The dramatic, soaring guitars go well with the dynamic, crooning vocals. The rhythm section stays in the background, but occasionally the drums or bass will pop its head out with a little compositional embellishment. Of course, we can’t forget the piano either. It really helps fill out their sound. These guys have a lot to offer. You’ll probably hear more from them soon. Check out ‘Headwind’ below!
