<p><img class=" wp-image-4065 aligncenter" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/7-13-18-crywolf.jpg" alt="7 13 18 Crywolf" width="428" height="428" />Crywolf&#8217;s &#8216;Quixote&#8217; is an eclectic, untethered electronic composition with a lot of energy. Writer and producer Justin Phillips says this is, &#8220;the first in a series of forthcoming singles, showcases the continued evolution of Crywolf&#8217;s sound in the direction of indie-electronic producers such as James Blake and Bon Iver, while remaining in a distinct lane of its own.&#8221; He describes his music as having &#8220;developed a more serene, dark, and cinematic palette, while retaining moments of intense energy that recall his roots in the electronic world.&#8221; Cinematic would definitely be a good way to describe this work. The funky-yet-haunting ghoul-like vocalizations that define much of the song really capture the sense of a weird horror novel or an off-color psychological thriller. There&#8217;s so much going on here that it&#8217;s kind of hard to put into words. Everyone should give this a listen. Check out &#8216;Quixote&#8217; below!</p>
