Kore’s ‘Save My Soul’ Is Melodic Alt Rock With a Sad Throwback Vibe

8 26 18 KoreKore’s ‘Save My Soul’ is sad, melodic alt rock with a neat throwback vibe. “The conventional four-man line-up,” from Saarbrucken in Germany, have “committed themselves to melodic alternative rock affected by the influences… from the 90s.” These guys “always focus on writing songs with love for the details that make [them] memorable and leave songs stuck in your head.” These guys definitely seem to take a lot from groups like Jimmy Eat World, but at the same time it feels like their net may be a little broader than that. This is certainly traditionally sad alt rock, but it seems like there are elements of modern hard rock and maybe even a little bit of a country twang in here. These guys are strong musicians. The riffs, hooks and melodies on here are really well done. This is absolutely worth a listen. Check out ‘Save My Soul’ below!
