<p><img class=" size-full wp-image-5605 aligncenter" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/11-14-18-redd.jpg" alt="11 14 18 Redd" width="400" height="400" />Redd&#8217;s &#8216;She Said&#8217; featuring Rocky Wallace is expansive, hook-oriented pop music featuring a woody, analog vibe and a fast-paced, technical rap section. &#8220;This is the first single off the upcoming release <em>No Free Tickets</em>,&#8221; the artists say, which is &#8220;due out December 1st.&#8221; Clearly, this is well-rooted in the conventions of modern pop music, but this ad hoc duo has created a very unique environment for their vocal performances to sit in. The mechanical, almost scientific rap section that opens the song flows really well into the hook-laden body of the track defined by the sweet, dynamic voice of Rocky Wallace. The trap beat that serves as the song&#8217;s backbone doesn&#8217;t feel overly robotic. The percussion and hi-hats have a distinct warmth to them and the acoustic, ethereal approach to melody gives the track a sense of approachability and humble clarity.
