Dear Brother’s ‘Upstream Colour’ is a slow, sweet and broad take on rock music out of the United Kingdom. These guys describe themselves as, “a London-based band releasing their debut EP over 2018.” This is a nice vibe-oriented soft rock track. The way the fleeting guitar licks flutter along with the rubbery, pulsing bass lines is really something to be envied. Behind that, the expansive, whirring soundscape these guys have created serves as the perfect backdrop for the sweet, tingly vocals. This is a quality track from a neat band.
