Elements of folk, hip-hop, and pop can be heard in &#8220;What&#8217;s A Song?&#8221; even on the vocal delivery. Pulling inspiration from so many different genres of music is one of the things that truly sets Joel Baker apart from other artists and allows him to stand out and rise quicker. When comparing &#8220;What&#8217;s A Song?&#8221; to his last standout single &#8220;Rupi Kaur,&#8221; it&#8217;s clear that &#8220;What&#8217;s A Song?&#8221; is more fit for pop radio and &#8220;Rupi Kaur&#8221; is more a folk song and cult-classic for fans.
