For a long time it destroyed my self worth. I didn’t care about myself. I was at risk. I would come home from school crying and I wouldn’t talk to anyone. It was rough. I always wondered “why does this have to happen to me?” But now I know that all of the pain made me stronger, more empathetic, and it gave me the desire to help others through their struggles. Just hang on. I did. My struggle made me stronger. My struggle allows me to help people. People can be cruel, but I made it through school. I don’t let people talk down to me anymore and when I see someone getting bullied or harassed I speak up. I’m proud to wear @Hollister and be a #HcoPartner to help cancel bullying. I cannot wait to see the day that we live in a bullying-free world! One day! Check out my newest video on YouTube to hear more about this incredibly important campaign! We can all do our part to make this world a better place. Photo by @DavidYerbyPhoto

Also, Did you know that October 17th, 2019 is GLAAD’s Spirit Day?

“Spirit Day is a means of speaking out against LGBTQ bullying and standing with LGBTQ youth, who disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. Pledging to “go purple” on Spirit Day is a way for everyone — forward-thinking companies, global leaders, respected celebrities, neighbors, parents, classmates, and friends — to visibly show solidarity with LGBTQ youth and to take part in the largest, most visible anti-bullying campaign in the world.” – GLAAD
