Dog Whistle redefines ‘Cat Calling’ for the men aggressively picking up other men on the street. Inspired by Pup Play, a fetish in the Gay BDSM Community, both rappers trade verses covered in canine punch lines over a deep beat and appropriate whistle.
Hi Yello sets the scene beginning with exchanged glances and, after a successful Dog Whistle, ending on all fours. Estevan, the God’s verse begins the training as he tells Hi Yello exactly what to do with his bone. You won’t think of doggie-style the same after this song.
As soon as the song starts, we are pulled in by the catchy beat, then smacked in the face with Hi Yello’s eloquent songwriting, cadence, and vocal delivery. His verse tells a story that progresses sexually but naturally, with clever pup references all throughout! What was your favorite part about making this song?
I’m so excited to collaborate again with Estevan, The God! As soon as I started writing to this beat, I knew I needed his voice on this track. He bodied his verse and I couldn’t be happier!!
What was the hardest part making this song?
Honestly, once I came up with the concept, writing and recording came really easily for this track. And once Estevan sent his vocals back, it was a match made in heaven!
Was this release cathartic for you?
Absolutely!! This my favorite song I’ve released this year and having it finally out for the world to hear is an amazing feeling!
What keeps you motivated?
The gay rap community and friends that I’ve made online over that past year of releasing music. It’s so inspiring to see so many incredible artist doing their thing! It’s an honor to be included in such inspiring company!!
What can we expect next from you?
I have another single called “Tonka Truck” dropping in two weeks on 5.21.21! Back to back raunchy ass bops to set the summer off!

Estevan, The God obviously! I love his new album Guapotron and I’m honored to be featured on it. Megan thee Stallion, GodisMikey & Leikeli47 have been getting me through and ready for Sum ‘21!
