<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;ve experienced gender dysphoria or have ever felt not at home in your body, you&#8217;ll relate to &#8220;Portrait of a Girl&#8221;. With the tough political climate for trans youth and queer people in general, hearing this song was very comforting. It reminds me that we aren&#8217;t alone, and so many people across the country and world are experiencing similar feelings. I love the acoustic guitar and the addition of the upright bass. The overarching message of self-acceptance will help any listener feel more at ease.
