<p>Kimya Dawson is an American folk singer and songwriter, known as one half of the band “Moldy Peaches.” The band went on hiatus in 2004, while Dawson toured most of North America and Europe. In 2008 Kimya Dawson recorded some acoustic songs for a movie soundtrack of the coming of age indie film “Juno.” One of the most popular songs that is hear throughout the movie is “Tire Swing,” which can be heard on her album “Remember That I Love You.” Another of her popular songs that is heard in the movie is “Anyone Else But You,” by the “Moldy Peaches” which put the band back on the map. Dawson’s last album was released in 2011 called “Thunder Thighs.” Now she collaborates with other artist such as “Third Eye Blind” and Paul Baribeau. Hopefully Kimya Dawson will put outnew music in the near future.</p>
