The new Jorel Corpus track, ‘Better’, is a grand, sweeping electronic composition with exceptionally strong production. ‘Better’, which Corpus describes as about being rejected by a girl, builds patiently into an emotionally hammering crescendo. This artist has used electronic instrumentation and computerized audio effects masterfully to build a truly immersive environment. The vocals on here are strong and endearing and the wobbly, manipulated instrumental is of the caliber all electronic musicians should aspire to. Jorel Corpus has so much to offer.
