This Washington DC-based, California-born upright bassist and singer is extremely talented. &#8216;Spin of the Wheel&#8230;&#8217; has jangly, subdued guitars, dynamic yet pocketed drums and well-developed walking bass lines. On top of everything, Saphos&#8217; soothing, full vocals really stand out. Keep your eye out for this girl &#8211; you&#8217;ll be hearing more from her soon.
