‘Pray’, the new Lowlander song, is some angsty, dynamic rock music. This debut single form the Seattle-based group features a strings arrangement from Andrew Joslyn who has worked with pop-rap legends like Macklemore as well critically-acclaimed one-man emo band Pedro the Lion. These guys definitely have some post-hardcore tendencies, but their work seems more pop-oriented and radio friendly. Their forays into Ronnie Radke-esque wails sound kind of out place at first, but as the track goes on you’ll understand why they’re in there. All of the musicianship on here is top notch. This composition really works. Check out ‘Pray’ below.
