<p><img class=" wp-image-3809 aligncenter" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/6-24-18-fevrier.jpeg" alt="6 24 18 Fevrier" width="413" height="413" />Fevrier&#8217;s &#8216;Short Is Tall&#8217; is upbeat yet melancholic Norwegian indie pop. These Tromso natives have taken a decidedly poppy approach to their music without sacrificing their &#8220;roots in shoegaze and new wave.&#8221; The bright, bubbly synths that define most of the song have a strange ambiguity to them that allows the song to express the surface-level trappings of happiness while utilizing more complex undercurrents. It&#8217;s also great how the band as a whole is okay with letting the electronic elements take priority when they need to. It really gives the tune a dynamism and diversity that permeates the entire mix. These guys are really good at what they do. Check out &#8216;Short Is Tall&#8217; below!</p>
