<p><img class="aligncenter wp-image-3981" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/7-5-18-hear-tonight.jpg" alt="7 5 18 Hear Tonight.jpg" width="399" height="399" />Hear Tonight&#8217;s &#8216;Cold Dancing&#8217; is bright, sunny indie rock with a laid back vibe. &#8220;The members of Hear Tonight are graduates of the Commercial Music Technology program at California University of Pennsylvania,&#8221; they say, &#8220;Lead guitarist Steve Grzenda and lead singer Shane Turner formed the band in Spring of 2014 and share songwriting and management duties.&#8221; Later on, &#8220;the lineup was completed with drummer Evan Yester and rhythm guitarist Jacob Urbanek, who also serves as mixing engineer.&#8221; These guys have a surf rock vibe that permeates all the way through their music. At the same time there&#8217;s a lyrical pessimism that colors the hyper-melodic guitar work and tight vocal harmonies. This summery-yet-melancholy contrast is really compelling and gives the band a complex, layered appeal. These guys have a lot to offer. Check out &#8216;Cold Dancing&#8217; below!</p>
