‘Shake The Ground’ by Kill the Noise and Snails is dynamic electronic music with a heavy metal sensibility. “Prepare your eardrums for annihilation,” the two collaborators say, “because Snails has just released his first track on his new label Slugz Music, and it’s every bit as assaulting as you’d expect from the artist who coined the term “Vomitstep.” The Montreal-based producer teams up with good friend Kill the Noise,” on here, “which lays the foundations for the aesthetic of Slugz Music with its rock n’roll and heavy metal influences.” The dark, deeply aggressive approach here is a nice change of pace in a genre dominated largely by party music. This is an audible assault in pretty much every sense. It’s certainly not for the faint of heart. If you can take it, it’s definitely worth it, though. Check out ‘Shake the Ground’ below!
