The band describes the song as a, &#8220;eulogy to love lost that rolls before it rocks. It digs through the mess of what&#8217;s left after a lover is gone and never coming back.&#8221; They say &#8220;it&#8217;s part catharsis and part acceptance. It&#8217;s about picking up the pieces and holding onto what&#8217;s good, while realizing some things just won&#8217;t let you go.&#8221; There&#8217;s a notable patience on here that makes the song&#8217;s climax all the more fulfilling for the listener. At the get-go, it&#8217;s not totally clear what direction the band is heading in, so when the first little breakdown rears its head it kind of whacks you in the face. Behind the strong composition, the production on here is really well done. The glitzy-yet-grungy guitar tone is backed up by a smooth, pumping bass sound and percussion with an exceptional sense of presence. These guys really know what they&#8217;re doing.
