‘Tyrannosaur’ by Red Legs Is Thunderous Alt-Rock with a Blues Sensibility

10 26 18 Tyrannosaur‘Tyrannosaur’ by Red Legs is pounding, full-hearted alternative rock with a bluesy approach. Simply, these guys describe themselves as, “explicit blues rock.” The band does a really good job of fusing an intense, compelling sense of rhythm with a more restrained take on their melodic work. The drums and the bass move together in an unstoppable, unified march while the guitars float seamlessly in, around, above and under the immutable base the rest of the instrumentation forms. Above all of that, the soaring vocals imbue the track with a clear sense of personality. There’s a deep, sad rumbling to them, but at the same time they have a smoothness that lets them roll into the ear with ease. In one word, the best way to describe this track would be thunderous. This is a great song from a talented band. Check out ‘Red Legs’ below!
