<p><img class=" wp-image-4714 aligncenter" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/8-21-18-dr-ghost.jpg" alt="8 21 18 Dr Ghost" width="462" height="462" />Dr. Ghost&#8217;s &#8216;Tangled in the Trees&#8217; is some melodious punk rock with a poppy, irreverent tone. The group describes itself as an, &#8220;LA-based melodic hardcore anarcho-punk three-piece.&#8221; This tune is kind of chaotic, but at the same time there&#8217;s a sense of structure and purpose. The production is kind of fuzzy and lo-fi, but that really fits the song perfectly. Musically, some comparisons could be drawn between these guys and groups like Operation Ivy or A Wilhelm Scream. Ideologically, they&#8217;re more in line with anarcho-punk acts like Crass or Subhumans. This is a good showing from a promising band. Check out &#8216;Tangled in the Trees&#8217; below!</p>
