“Relationships are hard,” <strong>Micah Woods</strong> says about his new song, “Love Like That.” He says he wrote this pop song about a really difficult time in a relationship when he had to decide whether or not to stay in it, and this emotion is evident. The lyrics are heart-wrenching through the entire song, but with the bridge comes a twist in Micah’s voice. He switches from his soft melody to a voice full of pain that everyone can relate to. Most songs about love aren’t relatable to people who haven’t experienced a romantic relationship, but Micah manages to capture the universal experience of complicated romantic or platonic relationships. Despite all this pain, though, the song is an empowering reminder to take care of ourselves.</p>
