My name is Ryan Cassata and I’m an out and proud transgender singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. This is my personal list of out LGBTQ artists to celebrate this Pride and every day! I’ve chosen artists who are active in the music world currently, have shows coming up or have just released new music! Enjoy the list!

1.Jesediah
Jesediah is a 21 year old transgender producer/hip hop artist based in the Empire State who puts on a live show that captivates every member of the audience.

2. Chris Crocker
Chris Crocker is a gay activist and comedian who shocked listeners with some great pop music on his self titled album earlier this year.

3. Johanna Chase
Johanna Chase is an out soulful singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles hailing from Washington State. She does excellent covers on YouTube as well as original music.

4. April Rose (of the Rose Monarch)
April Rose is an out singer-songwriter who fronts the NYC-based rock band The Rose Monarch. She is currently on tour playing great acoustic tunes!

5. Mya Byrne
Mya Byrne is a folky-bluesy singer-songwriter based in California. She’s an out trans woman with a powerful voice!

6. Mae Krell
Mae Krell is a 19 year old singer-songwriter who is non-binary. They started in photography and now have started making a name in music. They are currently on tour with April Rose.

7. KELLEN
Kellen is a young singer-songwriter who is openly trans. He has a soulful voice and is working on his debut EP now.

Micah Woods is an openly gay singer-songwriter based on the East Coast. He has a soothing folk-pop vocal on his debut song “Fast Track.”

Niko is a singer-songwriter who fuses hip-hop and pop music together. He is based in the Bay Area and plays shows frequently. He is also a talented photographer.
