<p>Karen &; the Sorrows are queer country trailblazers who have been featured in Billboard and Rolling Stone. Their newest song &#8220;Guaranteed Broken Heart&#8221; has a somber vibe to it. It&#8217;s authentically country-Americana in it&#8217;s instrumentation choices and styles. There&#8217;s a guitar riffing and a shuffling drum groove that keeps the song feeling very alive. Vocally it&#8217;s stunning, covering a lot of range. The vocal has just enough twang to feel country but not feel overdone or gimmicky at all.</p>
<p>I happen to be one of the lucky one&#8217;s who got to catch Karen &; The Sorrows performing live in Brooklyn as part of a Pride after party at Union Hall. I highly recommend going to see them perform if they come around to your city!</p>
