Abigail Lapell spent time in the mountains preparing and gaining inspiration for the album Getaway. The time spent and dedication is felt in featured song “Down By The River.” The song is instantly encompassing with an alluring guitar melody and pure vocals. The vocals in “Down By The River” are tuneful, warm, and quite mesmerizing. They stand ouy in this song with beautiful harmonies and perfectly delivered passionate lyrics.
