Her newest release is titled Volume One and showcases her wide range of talent on it&#8217;s 4 tracks. She is the sole composer for all of the songs on the EP, as well as the only vocalist. She also created the album artwork. Her EP brings listeners on a journey through location and sound with instrumentation and vocals.</p>
<p>Listeners will feel immediately pulled in to the sound that Meera Naz has to offer. Her passion is very clear and cuts across on every single track on the record, starting at track number one. On the first track, &#8220;No Hero,&#8221; listeners will hear her stunning vocals that transmit incredible amounts of emotion. It&#8217;s impossible to ignore the feelings coming through the speakers. The beat is laid-back and adds the perfect amount of flavor to the song. The fusion of genres happening on the song bring this sound to the next level, giving listeners something new and exciting to hear. Listeners will hear a taste of singer-songwriter folk, pop, with South Asian and Indian Classical influences throughout the songs on the EP.</p>
<p>This song serves as a grand introduction to the record, bringing us to the stellar 2nd track, &#8220;There Was A Time.&#8221; This song has a contagious melody that begs to be heard again and again. It is the most pretty song on the record, one that cannot be ignored or skipped. &#8220;Truth Is&#8221; is another track that takes the listener on a unique journey through sound. The instrumentation combined with the vocal showcases a wide range of talent from Meera Naz. Her lyrics shine bright and her vocals shine even brighter. The EP&#8217;s grand finale is a gorgeous piano instrumental. &#8220;No Hero&#8221; brings us back to the start of the EP as the melodies drift through the air on just piano. Rock the Pigeon enjoyed the way the piano brought the EP to a close.</p>
