This two song single is perfect for fans of 90s rock and grunge, built on distorted guitars that ring out, heavy hitting drums, and vocals that carry the spirit of early emo. Both songs are deeply emotional, the kind of music that doesn&#8217;t just pass through you but actually becomes part of you as you listen.</p>

The guitar riff serves as the main hook, anchoring the whole song while the vocals settle into a laid-back delivery that leans fully into the spirit of depression and giving in. Lyrically this is a song about the burden of being stuck in a state of avoidance, the shame of not being able to be publicly authentic, and how all of that weight builds up over time until it becomes almost unbearable. Even as a witness to this kind of inner struggle you can feel the grief yourself, which is a testament to just how effectively Planer translates this human dilemma into sound. The heavy distorted minor chords and textures of tension pull the inward conflict right to the surface. Then towards the end the song hits a breakdown where the bass and guitar riff off each other in a stunning instrumental moment that tugs on your heartstrings one more time before the whole thing explodes back into a wall of sound.</p>

A little more upbeat than its predecessor, the track kicks off with bright and distorted guitar riffs that pull you in from the very first second. Then the melody arrives and that is it, you are completely consumed. It is a genuinely unique melody, rooted in emo but carrying an unexpected uplift that feels almost euphoric. Lyrically &#8220;Dial&#8221; is about remembering someone you are deeply fond of, that specific feeling of longing that is not painful but warm, where simply thinking about a person fills you with a kind of quiet elation. The songwriter is not mourning the distance between them and this person so much as celebrating the fact that someone like that exists in their life at all. It is a beautiful distinction and Planer captures it with a tenderness that hits hard. The lyrics read like poetry:</p>
