Audra Mae released a new record called “Love, Audra Mae” on February 20th, 2018 featuring the contagious single “Open Arms.” The single hooks you in right from the start and continues to captivate listeners throughout the entire recording. The song is about loving someone even when they are struggling. It’s a feel-good track and gives a warm and fuzzy feeling to the listeners. The instrumentation was done very well with a drum beat that keeps listeners moving, and electric guitars that have just the right tone to compliment Audra Mae’s gorgeous and fierce voice. The songwriting is really something extremely rare and special.
You can stream the album on Spotify and hear the smash “Open Arms.”
Audra just happens to be the great-great niece of Judy Garland who is known for one of the most classic movies of all time, The Wizard of Oz. Audra has worked with many other artists and writers including Fall Out Boy (she wrote the song “Church” on their new album), Celine Dion, The Chainsmokers, Miranda Lambert, Avicii, Kelly Clarkson, and Little Big Town. Her vocals and original songs have been placed in major Hollywood motion pictures and TV shows such as Sons of Anarchy, CSI, Nashville and Sense 8 as well as national commercials. She has gathered over 70,000 monthly listeners on Spotify as well and we expect those numbers to grow significantly. Her country style version of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” was featured in Sons of Anarchy and has over 4.6 million streams on Spotify. It’s a very calm version of the song. Her beautiful voice is sure to carry her towards more successes in the near future!
