A New Gorgeous Folk Song from Daniel Pearson

Multi-instrumentalist/Singer-songwriter Daniel Pearson is out with new folk single titled “Pieces of the Puzzle.” The song starts with just an atmospheric background noise, guitar and soothing vocals, before a tambourine comes in, the drums come in around the 1 minute mark and elevate the song. The vocal melody takes unexpected turns that keep the song very exciting. The chorus of singers makes the song stand out from other folk songs.

A bit about the song from the artist himself:
“I guess this song, like a lot of my new material, is trying to make sense of the world in 2018…Like everyone else I’m asking questions, looking for answers, hoping for optimism in pretty dark times – and there’s no fast track or easy way to doing or finding those things. Pieces Of A Puzzle feels like a part of that search, and the music has this new-frontier, big-canyon vibe to it that fits the idea of a journey.”

He lists his influences as Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, REM, Bob Dylan, The National, The Beatles, Ryan Adams. Daniel Pearson tours the United Kingdom and the United States.
