<p>&#8216;Maga Dog&#8217;, Canadian artist Exco Levi&#8217;s new song, is a groovy, traditional reggae tune. On this track, the guitar and bass fit right into the pocket &#8211; where they&#8217;re supposed to be. The steel drum bits add some nice flair to what&#8217;s otherwise a relatively simple song. The tune&#8217;s name has its roots in the old Jamaican proverb, &#8220;sorry fi mawga dawg, mawga dawg tun round bite yuh.&#8221; Levi explained this as &#8220;doing your best&#8221; for somebody and &#8220;being repaid in evil&#8221; which he sees as a universal truth. Everything about Levi and his music oozes Candian-West Indian pride. His new album <i>NARRATIVE </i>is out now. Go check it out (video above)!</p>
