‘Heartbreaker’, the new single from Happy Sometimes, is an intense, personally-oriented pop track. The first half of the track is defined by well-chosen piano sounds and synthesizers and some beautifully processed vocalizations. Later on, the track evolves into something more bass-heavy and vocally-oriented. Happy Sometimes does a good job of not showing her hand too early – the track’s peak reveals itself to you at the right time. This California native has tons of potential to break out into the mainstream. She has already gained a strong following on Spotify after being featured on several official Spotify playlists.
