“Being gay has definitely been a challenge in that people in the industry can sometimes think that defines you.” – LP
We are now more than halfway through Pride Month! Today we wanted to introduce our readership to another incredible out and proud LGBT artist: LP.
We are celebrating her infectious song “Shaken.” It’s quite obvious to the ears that LP’s song “Shaken” is a hit from the first line of the first verse. The song is a true heartbreak anthem that can be easily danced to. It’s filled with extreme emotion in both the music and the compelling vocal delivery. It serves as a release for the artist and really showcases the power that heartbreak has on songwriting. The emotions are exploding in a tremendous way through the microphone. The breakdown of the song shows the true talent that LP possesses vocally allowing the listener to appreciate her artistry.
