This slow, toned down Swedish showgaze is deeply in debt to groups like Slowdive and Ride. &#8216;The Rain&#8217; is defined by its patient, light rumbling and dramatic post-rock-style build ups. &#8216;The Sun Still Shines For You&#8217; is a sparser, more personally-oriented composition. It features clearer vocals and a more traditional use of electronic elements. The vocals really stand out over the course of the entire EP &#8211; they&#8217;re full and engaging. The traditional rock instrumentation is solid, but this group excels most as its use of dreamy synthesizers to create fully-formed sound scapes.
