‘To a Spark’ by Pilot Run is some dramatic, very British post-hardcore. These guys channel the pop sensibility of early You Me at Six without sacrificing hardcore’s energy or grit. They have a lot in common with bands like Funeral For a Friend or A Static Lullaby. ‘To a Spark’ features a pounding rhythm section and deeply melodic guitars that sit further back in the mix.
