‘Highest Bidder’, by Jacob Jeffries, featuring Vulfpeck’s Theo Katzman, is some upbeat, riff-oriented pop rock. The comical spoken-word intro seems to have its roots with pop punk Bands like Blink-182 and Say Anything. The sunny riff that helps the composition transition between its different parts is definitely one of the highlights. It’s the kind of lick that can make you whole-heartedly bob your head.
