‘Just Won’t Stop’ by The Qualia is some diverse, relatively complex indie rock. According to the band, their music “speaks to the heart as much as to the head. Reflecting the passionate and analytical personalities of Lars Casteen, Rossen Nedelchev, Matt Raymond, and Will McCutcheon, the group’s music combines a wry humor and dancefloor sensibility with lyrical depth and jangle to create their own brand of modern new wave.” The active, personality-rich bass line definitely stands out. The traditional guitars mesh well with the vocals and the track’s other melodic elements like the keys, electronics and horns featured on here. These guys are truly consummate composers.
