Talkie’s ‘Fuzzy Disco’ Is Some Retro Indie-Pop

5 12 18 Talkie‘Fuzzy Disco’ by Talkie is some retro, groovy indie pop. Their debut album, “the self-recorded, self-produced Hablas, was released for free in the Fall of 2015.” ‘Fuzzy Disco’ song is aptly titled. This really does sound like an updated, millennial take on disco music. The solid, dynamic bass is almost flippant with its attitude. Behind it, the understated drums are right where they need to be with every hit. Vocally, this track is a throwback. This singer really embodies the seventies. Interestingly, the guitar on here seems to more function like a horns section by accenting rather than defining the song. These guys are true up-and-comers. Check out ‘Fuzzy Disco’ below!
