‘Make Amends’ by Breath After Coma is some patient, pounding Greek hard rock. These Athenians “got together in late 2013/early 2014,” they say, “at first by just doing jam sessions, which quickly developed in a live act.” Apparently, “songs from their [self-titled] EP were chosen for the OST of U.S. extreme sports action movie Thunderstruck 14,” which is really impressive. The sometimes scratchy, sometimes reverb-oriented guitars, which operate over an expertly dynamic bass line, really captures the group’s vibe. Behind that, a solid drum beat keeps the untethered tune in check. Floating over everything, some Ozzy Osborne-esque lead vocals tie the whole track together.
