Vajra’s ‘The Mirror’ is some nuanced female-fronted metal. In many regards, it seems like the group takes a lot from Tool and Mastodon. They hit hard, but that’s not instead of having quality, compelling riffs. Vajra also seems to bring some eastern elements into the mix which adds a layer of mystique not present in most hard rock. On top of everything, a soaring, operatic vocal performance ties the whole track together. These guys have a lot to offer. Check out ‘The Mirror’ below!
