An ambient swell opens up the track “Creatures”, by Glass House Point. You can tell this indie-rock song takes influences from the synth-pop genre. Both the lead guitar and vocals sit in the forefront of the tracks landscape. Clean guitar tones are made spacious with a fair amount of reverb while the vocal melodies follow the lead guitar. At the moments it seems that the song is building up to a climactic chorus, the instruments are brought back down to a lull. “Creatures” stands out of the indie-rock crowd. If you like memorable noodly guitar riffs this song is worth giving a listen.
