After a relationship ends, we often can’t stop ourselves from thinking about what could’ve been and the plans made for the future. “Virginia is for Lovers” is a new song from Cameron Jericho. It’s is about the pain of cancelled plans because of a breakup. He also highlights the train system in America, specifically, “the end of the romanticized age of the American railroad.” Inspired by a license plate, he researched the railroad system and found the passenger train decline, and he created a masterpiece from this research. “Virginia is for Lovers” infuses classic rock and country sounds that progress much like a train, with beautifully soft vocals.
