This band&#8217;s &#8220;boisterous, lairy punk can whip up a riot, but their lyrics,&#8221; the band says, &#8220;offer an intelligent social commentary founded on progressive ideas.&#8221; They describe this tune as, &#8220;a rabble-rousing brawl of punk attitude, metallic riffs and holler-along catchiness,&#8221; that still &#8220;possesses a poetic insight that contrasts the direct rebellion of its sound.&#8221; These guys have a deeply narrative quality that does a solid job of communicating clear messages. This song jumps between groovy riff-oriented sections, hard-hitting spoken-work dirges and quiet interludes. The band really brings a lot of different sounds and influences to the table. There&#8217;s obviously an orientation toward punk rock, but at the same time it feels like they take some cues from old school hip-hop while channeling a bluesy sensibility.
