<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4943" src="https://rockthepigeon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/9-16-18-dd-walker.jpg?w=890" alt="9 16 18 DD Walker.jpg" width="445" height="445" />DD Walker&#8217;s &#8216;Do You Miss It&#8217; is well-crafted, atmospheric pop music with a distinctly new wave approach. The song has an anxiously cinematic feel to it &#8211; something that could probably be said of Walker&#8217;s music at large. In part, this can be attributed to the fast pace and mousy vocal delivery, but this duo isn&#8217;t the only element contributing to that vibe. In certain regards, this is a very minimalist composition. With the exception of the drum track, which definitely channels a neurotic post-punk sensibility, there&#8217;s a lot of empty space on here. This allows the different effects and synths to really build up the tension and for the understated emotionality of the vocals to shine through. This is an awesome track from a talented artist.
