Young Lyonne and Sxryn's 'Night and Day' Is Aggressive, Poppy Trap

Young Lyonne and Sxryn’s ‘Night and Day’ is aggressive, poppy rap music that hits hard. The duo describes this as their “most experimental track that blends new age trap rap with rock to represent the idea of being okay with being an individual.” Additionally, it reflects on the “Chinese media’s recent exclusion of hip hop, by having Sxyrn rap in Chinese.” In a lot of ways these guys really channel the Florida sound – especially the late XXXTentacion. The track really utilizes the manic aggression that defined his sound. At the same time, it’s nice to see another artist that really brings in their rock influences. It makes for a more textured sound. This is a nice track from some talented artists. Check out ‘Night and Day’ below!
