'Are You Still Dreaming?' by Ghosts of Social Networks Is Warm, Clean Alt-Rock

‘Are You Still Dreaming?’ by Ghosts of Social Networks is a warm, warbling and eclectic take on alternative rock out of the United Kingdom. Nathan Till, who the band describes as, “the creative prowess behind GOSN, is inquisitive by nature which informs his approach to songwriting.” These guys cite “new wave artists such as The Cure, Bauhaus, Echo and The Bunnymen as well as contemporary artists like Nick Cave and The National,” as their primary influences. This band does a really good job of creating an immersive, homey atmosphere. In that regard, it seems like some lines could be drawn to acts like Tigers Jaw or Alex G. Although their sound is definitely very warm and familiar, they don’t sacrifice any crispness or clarity on the production end to achieve that effect. This is a well-done track from an awesome band.
